Lee U-fan, born in Gyeongnamo, Korea, is a globally active artist based in Japan.\r\n
Since the late 1960s, he has been a noteworthy artist in leading the "Mono-ha" school in both creating and theory and has garnered high acclaim both in Japan and abroad.\r\n
Li often creates works that combine a series of dots and lines. Even in his repetitive work, in which he repeats the same actions, he says that different temperatures, environments, and events act to create something that looks the same each time but is different.\r\n
He continues to work between sameness and difference. He incorporates these ambivalent elements into his works, standing on the site of the self and the other, in other words, on the contradictory law of life.\r\n

Street artist "Sign A" is based in Tokyo. Since the origin of Japanese street art can be traced back to Ukiyo-e, Sign A aims to break the horizon between Ukiyo-e and art. Sign A works mainly on handmade Japanese paper as a support, using the stencil technique.

In 2016, Yamaji Naoki moved to Europe after studying oil painting in Japan. He is currently based in the Netherlands. \r\n
Yamaji has focused on his own Japaneseness, which became apparent during his life in Europe. As a result, he began to think objectively about society and its people from a uniquely Japanese perspective.\r\n
In his works, he depicts a fusion of humans and machines. While they have a dystopian aspect, they also have a sense of humor and strangeness.\r\n
Yamaji shows us one form of the relationship between humans and technology.

Gallery Commentary\r\n
In 2016, Yamaji Naoki moved to Europe after studying oil painting in Japan. He is currently based in the Netherlands. \r\n
Yamaji has focused on his own Japaneseness, which became apparent during his life in Europe. As a result, he began to think objectively about society and its people from a uniquely Japanese perspective.\r\n
In his works, he depicts a fusion of humans and machines. While they have a dystopian aspect, they also have a sense of humor and strangeness.\r\n
Yamaji shows us one form of the relationship between humans and technology.

In 2016, Yamaji Naoki moved to Europe after studying oil painting in Japan. He is currently based in the Netherlands. \r\n

Kim Jihye's artworks are based on photographic images. Kim searches for photographs that touch "something in me" from her own photographs or from her family's old film photo albums. She makes sketches based on them and creates her works using mezzotint and other copper-printing techniques.\r\n
She describes her work as "a record of me engraved in prints," and what she means by "record" here seems more like a "diary" to her. This may be because the work begins with a very personal scene and has a tendency toward self-confession. However, when we look at her works, we certainly feel a universal sensation that touches the deepest feelings of many people. Is it nostalgia, love, pity, or something else? Memories and emotions that cannot be expressed in a single word are swirling around.

Gallery Commentary\r\n
